On the afternoon of December 4, Chen Xiangqun, Member of Hunan Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice Governor, came to Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to inspect the construction situations of key projects. Chen Zhongbo, Deputy Secretary-General of Hunan Provincial Government, Xie Jianhui, Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Hunan Province, and Liu Yaochen, Director-General of the Environmental Protection Department of Hunan, participated in the inspection. Chen Sanxin, Hu Weilin, Tan Wensheng and Chen Zhonghong, the leaders of Xiangtan City, accompanied them to the inspection. In the process of inspection, Chen Xiangqun fully affirmed the rapid development of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan and the enterprises in the zone, and encouraged Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to build a competitive investment promotion environment and firmly lay a foundation for the development of Hunan export-oriented economy.
On the same day, Chen Xiangqun and his fellows came to the customs declaration hall, listened to the report on the basic situations of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan and showed great interest in the food-grade toys manufactured by Sonny Sendy in the zone. He said that high-tech projects have the largest growth capacity, Xiangtan has foundation and advantages in terms of technological innovation, and now it is Changzhutang self-dependent innovation demonstration area, no matter in introducing or cultivating projects, it shall focus on technological innovation and try to focus on those projects with high technological content and strong growth.
"What are the difficulties after enterprises enter the zone?" Chen Xiangqun was very concerned about the development of enterprises, he asked Ye Wei, Board Chairman of KoKo International, immediately after he entered the warehouse of KoKo International. Ye Wei said that using the functional advantages of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to carry out business can save 30% of capital cost for the enterprises and greatly reduce the fund flow pressure of project operation. Chen Xiangqun also required Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to attach importance to talent introduction and actively promote mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and provide quality services and create good investment environment for enterprises in the zone.
As an important economic function zone of Hunan Province and Xiangtan City and the forefront of opening to the outside world, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has a good trend of investment promotion and smooth construction of platform. Up to now, it has introduced total 43 projects, among which 32 projects are newly signed this year, including 5 processing projects, 7 warehousing logistics projects, 19 international trade projects, 8 intermediary service projects, 1 bonded exhibition project and 3 cross-border e-commerce projects. In terms of platform construction, the Bonded Commodity Exhibition and Transaction Center integrating bonded policy, exhibition and transaction, convenient customs clearance, modern business and other advantages together will be completed soon and put into operation after the Spring Festival; cross-border e-commerce pilot and overseas direct purchase business will be opened soon, which will build a "positive overseas online shopping" channel for domestic residents to purchase overseas commodities.
