On the afternoon of June 9, "Biquan Forum ? Human Culture and Social Science School" 100 itinerant lectures of special topics jointly organized by Publicity Department of Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee and Xiangtan Social Sciences Circles were started in meeting room 609 of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan. Yin Yanqing, Director of Economic Teaching and Research Department of the Party School of Xiangtan Municipal Party Committee, made the topic lecture on Several Major Issues in Current Economic Transformation and Upgrading. Yang Jian, Secretary of Discipline Work Committee of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan, presided over the lecture.
Focusing on several major issues in current economic transformation and upgrading, using a lot of actual data and examples, Professor Yin Yanqing elaborated the four issues including facing up to new normal and sustainable economic development, basic industry safety and severe environmental pollution. Taking Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone as an example, he analyzed the positioning, development and experience of the following four areas under special customs supervision: Waigaoqiao Bonded Zone, Waigaoqiao Bonded Logistics Zone, Yangshan Bonded Port Area and Pudong Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, which could be used for reference by Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan and greatly inspired all the cadres and staff.
Looking back at the basic situations of past economic development, Yang Jian pointed out the existing problems, made a detailed interpretation of national macroeconomic development trend and some ideas of economic transformation, which especially provided important guidance for Economic Development and Investment Promotion Bureau of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan in future investment promotion process and effectively compensated for the economic knowledge deficiency of all cadres of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan. He stressed that this lecture had a strong guidance and instructiveness for cadres of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan to transform working modes and ideas and adapt to local economic development and comprehensive bonded zone work under the new situation. He hoped all the cadres and staff to practice the learned knowledge and better serve the development of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan.
At the time of vigorously promoting economic work, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan attached great importance to the construction of cadre and staff team. Earlier this year, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan established a training plan to carry out work knowledge examination as well as "Biquan Forum", "quality lecture", clean government building, safety in production, official business reception and other lectures throughout the year, leading officials of Work Management Committee of Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan and relevant experts and professors are responsible for lecturing, so as to comprehensively improve the professional level and comprehensive quality of cadres and staff. In the implementation process of the training plan, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has properly added "three stricts and three honests" special topic education, "safe production month" activity, etc. Meanwhile, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has specially set up "staff self-service library", staff donate books, read and independently manage. After the construction, the library is well received by the staff, many staff members donate their precious books, share and exchange with each other.
So far, Comprehensive Bonded Zone of Xiangtan has carried out nearly 20 business examinations and various special lectures. Besides, there are numerous cadres and staff borrowing books every day. The executive force, integrity and cohesion of cadres and staff have been greatly improved, and the abilities to serve the development of zones and enterprises have been greatly strengthened, which lay a solid team foundation for accelerating the construction of domestic first-class comprehensive bonded zone.
