On 29th June, Xia Tong, Deputy Director of the Processing Trade Department of Changsha Customs, Xie Ning, Direcor and Li Yu, Deputy Director of Shaoshan Customs and Zhu Youhong, Director of the Management Committee of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone led a delegation to report their work to the Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs, and had a discussion with Guo Ziwen, Deputy Director of the Region Department of the Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs, and other relevant leaders.
At the seminar, Shu Liping, Vice President of Hongqiao Company reported on the progress of the bonded supervision system project of Phase II of the Golden Gate Project, and Xia Tong and Xie Ning, on behalf of the Processing Trade Department of Changsha Customs and Shaoshan Customs respectively, expressed that they would ensure the smooth progress of the bonded supervision system project of Phase II of the Golden Gate Project as per the requirements and schedule of the task of the General Administration of Customs.
Zhu Youhong expressed thanks to the Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs for its long-term support, saying that Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone has taken the construction of its into the first-rate comprehensive bonded zone, as well as the model zone, demonstration zone and pioneering zone in China in terms of speedy customs clearance as the objective by adhering to the principles of high standard and orientation since its operation. Currently it has introduced 24 projects; and some key projects like ZM Logistics are in the tense discussion about relevant cooperation and such projects as the bonded commodities center is under the accelerated construction. He said that in order to speed up the construction of the functional platform of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, it is hoped that the Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs will always pay attention to and give support for the Zone and grant more guidance and support to the Zone in such businesses as classified supervision of goods, selective taxation on goods for domestic sales, bonded demonstration of artistic works across customs regions directly under the administration of the General Administration of Customs and the bonded model for cross-border E-commerce.
During the discussion, relevant sections and departments of the Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs explained the questions one by one, and said that they would list Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone as the sole experiment unit in the bonded supervision system project of Phase II of the Golden Gate Project. The Division of Processing Trade and Bonded Commodities Supervision of the General Administration of Customs will greatly support and strongly promote Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone to become the customs special supervision area in the country, and clarified that Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone can conduct such businesses as the classified supervision of goods and the bonded model for cross-border E-commerce; and the relevant policies of selective taxation on goods for domestic sales will be clarified within the year.
