The Management Committee of Xiangtan Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Xiangtan CBZ) successfully signed cooperation agreement with Hunan Jiucheng General Aviation Co., Ltd regarding to building a comprehensive base providing a series of service, including civil helicopters importing, assembling, exhibition, components and parts warehouse, detection and maintenance. It is estimated to yield more than RMB200 million sales revenues after putting into operation.
Hunan Jiucheng General Aviation Co., Ltd is the first civil aviation enterprise specializing in general aviation business in Hunan province. It obtained general aviation business certificate issued by Civil Aviation Administration of China and business license issued by State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China in February 2014, and it passed qualification certification of CCAR-91 in September 2014, indicating that Jiucheng is qualified to operate general aviation business. The Jiucheng General Aviation Helicopter Program in Xiangtan CBZ is estimated to cover an area of 35 mu, with RMB300 million total investment and US$ 30million import volume after putting into operation.
The Jiucheng General Aviation Helicopter Program will be Hunan’s first strategic and emerging program that takes full advantages of bonded warehousing, exhibition, international detection and maintenance and other functions. Most helicopter components and parts are imported from overseas, therefore the bonded warehousing function of Xiangtan CBZ can greatly reduce operation costs for enterprises. In addition, Jiucheng General Aviation Helicopter Program will promote agglomeration of upstream and downstream enterprises, which is beneficial to form larger scale industrial cluster.
