The unveiling ceremony of the CPC Commission for Discipline Inspection of Xiangtan CBZ was held in front of the building of the Management Committee of the CBZ at 9:00 a.m. on January 4, 2021, the first working day in the new year. Xiao Junping, Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the CBZ, and Chen Zhu, Member of the Party Working Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CBZ attended the ceremony which was presided over by Zhang Wen, member of Party Working Committee and deputy director of Management Committee. Cao Guqiao, a deputy director of the CBZ, chief and deputy officers of various departments and enterprises in the CBZ, and all staff of the discipline inspection office attended the ceremony.
Mr. Xiao said that choosing the first working day in the new year to hold the unveiling ceremony of CPC Commission for Discipline Inspection of Xiangtan CBZ fully reflects the importance of discipline inspection and supervision work, and shows the determination to improve Party conduct, clean government and fight corruption, and marks the all-round and in-depth implementation of discipline inspection and supervision of the CBZ. He proposed three requirements. The first requirement is to further improve work style. Members of the leading groups and heads of all departments should take the lead in strengthening the implementation of regulations, and creating a good environment for work and business startup. The second requirement is to attach great importance to the work of building a clean and honest government. Guard against gradual creeping corruption as soon as possible. The third requirement is that all cadres and staff must strictly observe the relevant regulations on integrity and self-discipline, firmly implement “899” regulations issued by the Central Government, provincial and municipal governments, make constant efforts to correct and redress formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance, and maintain the clean and incorruptible environment during the coming Spring Festival.
