On March 30th, a delegation led by Zhou Yue, deputy director of Department of Commerce of Hunan province, came to inspect and investigate Xiangtan CBZ. Huang Ren (director of Bureau of Commerce of Xiangtan), Zhu Youhong (director of Management Committee of Xiangtan CBZ), and Cai Deqiang (vice-director of Management Committee of Xiangtan CBZ) accompanied the group to pay a field visit to Xiangtan CBZ.
During the visit, Zhou Yue carefully listened to the report on the Zone’s present situations and fully acknowledged the Zone’s construction and investment promotion. He also stated that, Department of Commerce of Hunan Province had paid great attention to the development of this Customs specially supervised area, which is also an export-oriented functional platform. He mentioned that the Department is now working hard to set up special policies on the specially supervised areas in Hunan province. He hoped that Xiangtan CBZ would further optimize its investment environment and improve its service procedures, vigorously building the Zone into a new highland for the development of export-oriented economy in Hunan Province.
