“Xiangtan CBZ boasts not only good business opportunities, but also excellent business environment. We trust Xiangtan CBZ!”, Lai Houyi (head of E-Great Industries (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.) openly praised the Zone during the special investment conference on March 31st. The praise is based on his expectation to this emerging “Comprehensive Bonded Zone”, as well as his trust in the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Xiangtan CBZ. It’s reported that E-Great Industries (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. has sighed contract with the Zone together with other 16 enterprises, thus becoming franchisees and partners of Xiangtan CBZ.
In order to comprehensively promote Xiangtan CBZ and attract investment, Xiangtan CBZ has held three special investment promotion conferences in cities such as Shanghai and Shenzhen, attracting officers from nearly 200 enterprises. By far, altogether 17 projects have settled down in the Zone, including 8 international trade projects, 3 bonded storage projects, 4 bonded processing projects and 2 intermediary agencies.
However, the conference on March 31st is different from the former ones in that it is specially held for the enterprises in Xiangtan, thus it is more localized and popular. During the conference, entrepreneurs from 25 export-oriented enterprises in Xiangtan such as Sanwang Group Co., Ltd., Gangyue Group (Shaoshan) Co., Ltd., and Lens Technology Co., Ltd., and Xunda Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. have come to Xiangtan CBZ. They visited its checkposts, patrol channels, supervision warehouses and inspection platforms, listened to an introduction to the Zone’s preferential polices, and watched investment promotion videos, trying to find new opportunities of investment.
The official from Liangang Fasteners Company has showed great interest in the Zone’s preferential polices. He also mentioned that his company specializes in producing fasteners with an annual export worth of 12 million yuan.
At the conference, head of Xiangtan CBZ addressed that he sincerely hoped the present entrepreneurs would invest in the Zone. He promised that the Zone would vigorously devote itself to providing an excellent investment environment for enterprises, and would work together with the enterprises to create a promising future.
Xiangtan CBZ was jointly examined and accepted by 10 national ministries and commissions such as General Administration of Customs on January 28th this year. It will officially start operation on April 20th. Presently, all the work has been ready for the day to come. The official operation of the Zone will greatly promote the efficient customs clearance of foreign trade goods of Xiangtan city and Hunan Province, decrease costs of logistics and capital turnover, and facilitate the development of export-oriented economy of Xiangtan and even the whole Hunan province.
