After Xiangtan CBZ passed official acceptance, its investment promotion has obviously accelerated. From January to April this year, the Zone successfully brought in another 11 projects, worth 700 million yuan. By far, there are altogether 22 projects in the Zone.
The 11 projects include KOKO Trade’s international logistics and storage, Shenzhen Huaqiang Group’s tire processing and import-export supply chain management, SDV international logistics, Lens Technology’s wafer export, etc, value totaling 700 million yuan. When these projects are put into production, they will help achieve an import-export volume of 438 million dollars, and a tax payment of 77.86 million yuan.
The KOKO international logistics and trade project is invested by Hunan KOKO Trade Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 400 million yuan. Its business ranges from the import and bonded processing export of raw materials of baby diapers and intelligent toys, to the import and storage of milk powder, olive oil, baby diapers, etc. Shenzhen Huaqiang Group’s tire processing and import-export supply chain management project is invested by the listed company Shenzhen Huaqiang Holdings Limited with a total investment of 130 million yuan. It is a joint venture logistics project with Hong Kong, whose basic business is import-export supply chain management of tire and engineering machinery accessories. The SDV international logistics project is invested by the French tycoon in international logistics, the SDV International Logistics Group. The Group has 550 branches all over the world, of which 33 are in China. It has its own fleets of ships, wharves, and loading and unloading motorcades in Africa and Europe. Especially, it has tremendous strength in sea transportation import and export.
Since its official acceptance, Xiangtan CBZ has vigorously implemented the investment-promotion strategy of “going out and bringing in” and expanded publicity, hence some achievements have been made. Altogether 22 projects have been brought in, concerning areas such as processing, trade and logistics.
